Screen Arrives...

Well, first off... our Mits 65" TV sold quicker than expected (that's a good thing though), so now we're going to be using the projector and screen for our evening viewing until construction starts the first part of Sept.

I've got some pics below showing how we have things 'rigged' to get us by for now. The picture from the AX100U is amazing right out of the box. I'll be doing some calibration on it later today and that should make it even better. Again, the basement is very 'rough at this time... Ignore the mess. :)

The Carada screen is wonderful. We're very happy with it. Great quality and workmanship. It went together very easily and reflects a great image. I would recommend this screen to any and everyone.

Very nice looking design. I used a Sanyo PLV-Z5 projector in my setup, but I was tempted to get the Panny. The 3-year warranty was the deciding factor.

I also bought the Carada Precision Brilliant White screen--a little smaller at 102" diagonal. I agree that they really do a nice job--better quality than screens costing twice as much!

I hope you will post some more images once everything is installed!

Thanks, Garfield. We're excited to see the design take shape too. Construction is scheduled to start on Sept 10th, so I'll be sure to post a lot of pics of the construction itself and the final product.

The Panny had a rebate with it when I bought it. I was able to get a $300 rebate, a $100 Blockbuster card AND extend the warranty to 3 years. Maybe that wasn't available when you were looking/buying?
